Opal Hospitality was approached by industry experts to take on a challenging project in development—the Wellington Hotel in the heart of Wellington, Ontario. This unique historical building, dating back to the 1800s, presented a unique opportunity. |
The Vision

Opal immediately recognized the immense potential of the hotel, envisioning a sophisticated retreat that harmonizes with the surrounding community. Through dynamic programming and robust F&B, Opal will breathe life into the property, positioning the Wellington Hotel as a luxury small boutique hotel. The vision includes high-end accommodations and an exciting food & beverage experience in multiple outlets, with guest rooms in the main building and private cabins on the property. |
What Opal Executed

Initially tasked with full management and operations, Opal adapted its role to focus on guiding and overseeing the project's construction phase. As a result, Opal has been instrumental in bringing the hotel closer to completion. When the construction phase concludes later in 2023, Opal will manage the hotel's opening and ongoing operations, ensuring the delivery of casual-luxury service and unique programming |
